These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the Brownlow Castle website and the purchase of our products and services, including tours, Afternoon Tea experiences, gift vouchers, and wedding enquiries. By using our website and services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

Brownlow Castle (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides heritage tours, Afternoon Tea, wedding services, and gift voucher sales.

2. Bookings and Payments

  • All bookings for tours and Afternoon Tea are made online through our booking system (Acuity Scheduling) and payments are processed securely through PayPal.

  • Full payment (or deposit where applicable) is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.

  • Prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include applicable taxes.

3. Afternoon Tea Deposits

  • A non-refundable deposit of £5.00 per person is required for all Afternoon Tea bookings.

  • The balance is payable on the day of your booking.

  • Deposits cannot be transferred to another date or refunded if you cancel, fail to attend, or reduce your party size.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Tours

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before your tour will be refunded in full.

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before your tour are non-refundable.

  • If we need to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date.

Afternoon Tea

  • Deposits are strictly non-refundable.

  • Cancellations made more than 72 hours before your booking will not incur further charges.

  • Cancellations made within 72 hours may be charged in full.

Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable once purchased.

  • They are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and cannot be extended.

  • Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and must be redeemed in full against eligible products or services.

5. Wedding Enquiries

  • Submitting a wedding enquiry form does not constitute a booking or guarantee availability.

  • A booking contract will only be formed once both parties sign an agreement and a deposit is received.

  • Separate terms and conditions will apply to confirmed wedding bookings.

6. Use of Our Website

  • You agree to use our website lawfully and not to disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.

  • We take reasonable steps to keep our website secure but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

7. Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brownlow Castle is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or services.

  • Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter which cannot be excluded under UK law.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

9. Changes to Terms
